Chicken Embutido Ingredients

  • 1 kg ground chicken
  • 1 pc small onion (diced)
  • 4 pcs hotdogs (diced)
  • 1 pc small carrot (shredded)
  • 1 pc. raw egg
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • Salt 
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Chicken Embutido Procedure

  1. Prepare steamer and boil water
  2. Mix chicken, onions, hotdogs, raisins, and carrots
  3. Add salt and soy sauce to taste
  4. Add the flour and egg to the mixture
  5. Mix well (I recommend using your hands in mixing, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly)
  6. Divide the mixture depending on your desired size or the size of your steamer
  7. Wrap the mixture in aluminum foil and twisting the ends to secure the mixture
  8. Steam for 40 minutes or until cooked, poke the embutido with toothpick to check if cooked
  9. You may also fry the embutido after steaming
  10. Slice the embutido diagonally
  11. Serve with hot rice and catsup
  12. Enjoy!
